The aim of this program is to prepare a qualified pharmacist who will be able to work as a pharmist and to develop professionally or/and continue with the next stage of education, who will have the basic knowledge in: pharmaceutical care, patient-centered pharmacotherapy, use of the results of clinical trials in pharmacy, production and manufacturing of medical products, and pharmaceutical analysis; Management skills necessary for: promoting pharmaceutical research based on ethical values, processing and delivering of pharmaceutical information, implementation of physician-pharmacist-patient model, communication with professional societies and general community, our graduates possess skills for management of the structural units at appropriate (intermediate) levels in pharmaceutical organizations. They may be employed in pharmaceutical companies, drug stores and health care facilities, public health organizations, drug quality control and toxicological laboratories, also in insurance companies who carry out health insurance, as pharmacists and / or managers in the sphere.

In European Educational System, Pharmacy is trained not as single-cycle education but as B.Sc degree and then master and PhD. Our graduates can apply in any field of pharmacy and chemistry MSc program or work in pharmacies in Georgia or Europe.

Academic Degree/Qualification: Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPh)
